Lakeville North School Counselors collaborate with students, families, community members, and school staff to provide the support and resources for students to achieve at high levels and succeed in the future. We support students with their academic goals and concerns, social emotional development, and college and career planning.

Pass/Fail Options

The QR code to the Pass/Fail Option form for the current semester will be posted in the Counseling Office. Please reach out to your counselor to get a link if you are not able to come to the office.

*Students can only sign up for one class P/F per semester. To earn credit, students must get to a passing mark of at least 60%. This will not count towards their GPA

*For student athletes: NCAA has announced that a P will count as the lowest passing grade (60%/D-), which might affect eligibility.

MCIS offers career, educational, and labor market information. MCIS includes: career interest, employability skill and learning style, surveys, college information and programs of study, short term training, apprenticeship and employment resources.

Students can log onto their MCIS account through Clever using their school email address.

PSEO

Postsecondary Enrollment Option (PSEO)

Information PSEO is a program that allows 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students to earn both high school and college credit while still in high school. Colleges and universities set their own admissions requirements for enrollment into the PSEO courses.

Incoming 9th Grade Families:
- We know that there are many questions that are involved with high school and the transition from middle school. We would love to meet you and want to be respectful of your time. If you would like to schedule a meeting, please reach out to our Counseling Office Assistant, Selina Vaith, at 952-232-3685.
