Severe Weather Plan
- The ceremony will take place rain or shine.
- The start time could be delayed if there is severe weather. The district will attempt to notify families of any delays prior to 4 p.m. However, if a delay must occur once families and graduates are on site, families will be requested to return back to their cars to wait.
- The ceremony start time will not be delayed more than two hours. If severe weather continues throughout the evening, preventing the ceremony from taking place, the ceremony will take place on the makeup date of June 5 at 5 p.m, with the same plan to delay only in the event of severe weather.
- In the unlikely event that adverse weather prevents an outdoor ceremony entirely, an indoor ceremony will be held on the June 5 makeup day. In this instance, tickets would be reissued, and would be limited to 3 per student in the main gym where the ceremony will occur, plus 2 additional to view the livestream on site in overflow spaces.
