College Possible -Minnesota
At College Possible Minnesota, we’re working to close the college degree divide. Since its founding in 2000, College Possible Minnesota has empowered more than 15,800* students from historically underserved backgrounds on their path to earning a college degree. Our pioneering model matches eligible students with a near-peer coach and an evidence-based curriculum designed to help students overcome the most common barriers to getting into college and completing their degree – all at no cost to students or their families.
- Near-peer coaching
- Students benefit from the related abilities, recent experience and trusted relationships of near-peer AmeriCorps coaches who offer an intensive curriculum of personalized support.
- 6+ years of support
- Students enrolled in the Core Program receive one of the longest support cycles available, starting their junior year in high school and continuing through degree completion.
- Over 20 years of national, evidence-based student impact - As one of the largest college access and success organizations in the country, these evidence-based programs have earned national credibility. Compared with their peers from similar backgrounds, College Possible
students are consistently achieving meaningful gains in college access, persistence and degree completion. - Students in College Possible are 30% more likely to go to college immediately after high school and 3X more likely to earn a bachelor’s degree compared to their peers from similar backgrounds.
- Support for un-enrolled students
- Students who un-enroll or drop out of college continue to receive coaching support to help them get back on track toward their college degree goal.

MCIS includes: career interest, employability skill and learning style, surveys, college information and programs of study, short term training, apprenticeship and employment resources. Students use their own MCIS account to plan and view progress towards career and college goals.
Students can log onto their MCIS account by "Log Into Clever", using their school email account, and then selecting MCIS.
Peer Tutoring
Become a Peer Tutor
Students interested in becoming a volunteer Peer Tutor should complete the Peer Tutor Sign Up Form listed below.
Once a student needs assistance in a subject that you have listed, you will be emailed their contact information and you can begin tutoring.
On the form, indicate all subjects that you would like to tutor and if you would like to tutor more than one student.
If the student no longer needs a tutor, please go to the Career Center so the Peer Tutor can be reassigned.
(Students can use tutoring to fulfill volunteer hours needed)
Request a Peer Tutor
Students who are needing assistance with a class, due to a lower current grade, can sign up for a Peer Tutor using the form below.
Both the student and Peer Tutor will be notified through their school email, the student's and tutor's name and contact information, and the tutoring can begin when convenient for both.
If the student no longer needs a tutor, please go to the Career Center to take your name off of the tutoring list.
Transcripts
Ordering High School Transcripts for College
To order a student high school transcript for college admission, parents/students will create their own online Parchment account. This electronic account will be a student's account for anything they may need a transcript before or after high school graduation. (Do not order transcripts through Parchment for scholarships, come to the LNH Career Center)
Transcript Instructions
- Go to Parchment
- Set up a New Learner Account (no registration codes issued)
- Enter student name EXACTLY as it appears on your student Infinite Campus account
- Complete all registration information (recommended: waive rights to access)
- Select destination college, NCAA (for athlete needs), or the Common Application
- Provide credit or debit card for the transcript processing fee
Notes:
- A charge is applied of $6.65 for each transcript needed through Parchment.
- For an UNOFFICIAL transcript students should use their Infinite Campus account to download their transcript, so they are not charged.
Benefits: This service is easy, secure, and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Colleges now prefer the official electronic transcript. Email confirmation is sent to the student when the request is received, when the transcript has been sent, and when the transcript has been received by the college.
