Scholarships Available
General scholarships are available to anyone, not only at LNHS students. Scholarships are listed all year, beginning in the fall of each school year. These scholarships use their own applications and methods of collecting applications, usually online. Check this page often, as scholarships are updated throughout the school year. Be sure to also check the "Scholarships Available Throughout the Year", listed below as these scholarships offer different awards throughout the year with different due dates.

Oct. 9 -Rotary Camp Enterprise
Lakeville Rotary Club sponsors JUNIOR students to receive the Camp Enterprise scholarship trip to Camp Courage, Maple Lake, MN. Camp Enterprise is a 3-day camp for high school juniors and seniors designed to introduce students to the free enterprise system and encourages entrepreneurship and ethical business practices. Each year at least (5) $1,000 higher education scholarships are awarded to students. Selected students will be excused from classes for the trip which takes place on October 31- Nov 2, 2024. Students interested in a business career should come to the LNHS Career Center.

American Legion Need A Lift Scholarships
The American Legion, an organization of wartime veterans, offers information to assist students in furthering their education with the assistance of scholarships. While scholarships help children of disabled and deceased veterans, all students can benefit from this information. Angel Dolphin Scholarships

Chipotle Reimbursement Program
Chipotle offers 90% reimbursement on college tuition, books and fees up the IRS limit of $5250 per calendar year. Criteria for employees: hourly crew members with 1+ yr of service, hourly managers and salaried employees, all college courses must be taken at an accredited 2 or 4yr public or private college and be a part of a degree program, and a review of college courses. College Covered offers several different scholarships throughout the year. College Board assists students with grant and scholarship information, and scholarship searches. Daughter of the American Revolution (DAR) Program & Scholarship
The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) offer several scholarships each year. DAR offers $150,000 in scholarships and financial aid awards. Scholarships are offered to students pursuing careers in political science, economics, government, history, medical, nursing, and additional specific scholarships. Apply at: www.Dar.org
Discover Business Degree Scholarships
Throughout the year, Discover Business offers several scholarships, each with their own criteria, due dates, and scholarship awards. Search for scholarships under their Resources tab and research all of the scholarships available. The scholarships are vast and amounts will vary in fields such as business accounting and finance. Gates Millennium Scholarships
The Gates Millennium Scholarship awards scholarships to graduating seniors that must be African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American or Hispanic American, U.S. citizen/legal permanent resident or U.S. Applicant must have a 3.3 GPA or higher, entering a U.S. accredited college or university as a full-time, demonstrate leadership abilities through community service, extracurricular or other activities, and meet the Federal Pell Grant eligibility criteria. Eligibility for Federal Pell Grant is determined through the free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the U.S. Department of Education, Federal Student Aid Programs. Going Merry Scholarships
Going Merry Scholarships will set up students' personal account and their information related as to match them to potential scholarships. Students simply sign up with their own account, enter their scholarship information and Going Merry will then contact students for their own potential scholarships to apply for this year. Yearly -Kiwanis Educational Foundation International Scholarships (KEY Club)
The Kiwanis Educational Foundation International (KEY) sponsors, through the Children's Club, several scholarships throughout the year. Lakeville Chamber Foundation Scholarships
This scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors, college-age students & adult students providing scholarship awards of $500 to continue their education, and further strengthen their workforce and leadership skills in Technical/Vocational programs. The Lakeville Area Chamber Foundation will award at least three $500 scholarships at the end of the 2016-2017 school year. Scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of their financial need, academic success, as well as personal merits. Learning Express Library Scholarships
Learning Express offers information relating to high school classes, college preparation and career planning. Visit the website to research colleges, assist with high school learning and college entrance exams. Prepare for exams in social work, medical, air traffic, civil service, military, culinary, etc. all types of jobs. There is job and career accelerator aides which assist with career exploration, job search, resumes, internships, and scholarships. Learning Express assists with preparing for ACT, PSAT, SAT, and AP exams. They have websites pages complete with high school class improvement aides. LendEDU Scholarships
LendEDU is a marketplace for student loans and student loan refinance. They award several different types of scholarships throughout the year. Listed on the website you will find categories of scholarships, posted by state, trait, school, race, major, military, skill and miscellaneous. MCIS (Minnesota Career Information System) Scholarships
Students at LNHS may access the MCIS scholarships that are available from around the state. Most students already have an MCIS personal account through LNHS. If not, please come to the LNHS Career Center to set up an account. Visit the LNHS/Career Center/Scholarships or the LNHS/Career Center/College & Resources web pages for general log-in information and links. Once on the MCIS website, hover over "Education" and select the "Scholarships" listed. There you will find many scholarships being awarded throughout the school year in Minnesota. Minnesota Jobs Scholarships
Minnesota Jobs award a $1000 scholarship each Sept., Dec., March, and June. Applicants must be enrolled and accepted into a 2 or 4 year college program at a MN accredited school. Students must plan on attending the school within 90 days. Additional requirements are listed on their website under the scholarship section. National Honor Society (NHS) Student Scholarships
Throughout the year, NHS Scholarships are available to NHS members. Students should visit this scholarship during their senior year and watch for applications and due dates available for all National Honor Society students. Visit: www.nhs.us

QuestBridge National College Match Scholarships
The QuestBridge National College Match helps outstanding low-income high school seniors gain admission and full four-year scholarships to 26 partner colleges and universities in the country. QuestBridge's partner colleges offer admission and more than $90 million in financial aid to over 900 students who applied to the National College Match. Apply online: www.Questbridge.org
RaiseMe Scholarships
RaiseMe is a social enterprise focused on expanding access to higher education, especially among low-income and first generation students. Rather than waiting until the end of high school to earn scholarships, which is often too late to impact a student's college ambitions or choices, RaiseMe enables students to earn scholarships throughout high school, starting as early as 9th grade, for doing all the things that best prepare them to succeed, whether that’s getting good grades, volunteering in the community or joining an extracurricular. Student Award Search Aid Scholarships
Student Award Search volunteers help students find money through scholarships. There are no fees associated and there are literally thousands of scholarships available all year. The money can range from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars. The competition for these dollars is tremendous in numbers but surprisingly small in quality. That's where we come in. We will give you some tips on how to find these scholarships and then how to apply for them in such a way as to give you a competitive advantage. Student Scholarships Organization
Throughout the year, Student Scholarships award various and multiple scholarships to students with varying amounts, awards, and criteria. These scholarships are due throughout the year, so visit the website frequently. October - December are now available. Scholarships can range from 300/$250,000 to 1/$500.

Student-View Scholarships Program
Student-View Scholarship program is offering $13,000 worth of scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college, community or career school. Simply log on directly to: www.student-view.com and complete a 15-20 minute application survey about colleges in the area.
Trade Hub Scholarships Board
Trade Hub Scholarships list scholarships available from Technical, Vocational, Community, and four year colleges year around. Plus there are grants listed for all to search, review, and apply. For complete information visit: Trades Hub Scholarships
Unigo Scholarships
Unigo helps to make students' path to financial ease a bit less treacherous. Students can explore more than $14B worth of scholarships, awards, and grants, including ones from Unigo, schools, privately-owned companies, and a host of other public, private, and other sources. Unigo divides its list of scholarships into comprehensive categories. This can help you pick a starting point and eliminate pointless browsing through categories you know are not a fit. These scholarships are available throughout the year. A scholarship listing is available easily by types of awards. Included in the listing scholarships based on athletic, college-specific, merit-based, major, state, high school students, etc.
UPS Earn & Learn Program/Scholarships
United Parcel Services (UPS) has paid out more than $47 million in college education assistance, including tuition and other qualifying expenses, helping more than 30,000 UPS employees attend college. Through UPS Earn and Learn Program, students are able to work part time and earn as much as $30,000/year in college education assistance. UPS awards up to $5250 per year for student tuition. Varsity Tutor College Scholarships
Varsity Tutors holds a monthly $1,000 college scholarship contest where students write an essay in response to a monthly prompt. Visitors to the Varsity Tutors scholarship web page are able to vote via social media for submitted entries. The top five entries with the most votes are reviewed by Varsity Tutors at the end of the month and one winner is subsequently chosen to receive the $1,000 college scholarship. ZipRecruiter Scholarships

LNHS students use the Minnesota Career Information System (MCIS) to access their own high school, college and career informational portfolios. Students will find their own high school career interest assessments to aid in college/career planning. MCIS assists with colleges’ information, tuition, student/professor ratio, population, admission requirements, high school class suggestions, career descriptions, etc. on their website.
LNHS students are able to set up their own portfolios while in high school and beyond. MCIS displays information concerning a student's career interest assessments, practice college entrance testing, college search information, college majors, career plans, maps out high school classes, scholarships, financial planning, and more. It also lists information for future jobs and the military. MCIS stores students’ own career/college comparison data for college search and career information.
Students should visit the MCIS website, log in with Clever, (using their LNHS Gmail account information) to access their own accounts to save their own portfolio data for future reference.
MCIS Scholarships
LNHS partners with Minnesota Career Information System (MCIS) All students have their own account portfolio access. Log in using Clever using the school-issued Gmail account, or go directly to MCIS using student username/password. Once signed in, you will find several scholarships listed under the Education tab, “Where to Get Help Paying for School”, Scholarships. MCIS lists several scholarships available to students. If you have any problems linking to MCIS, students should come to the LNHS Career Center.

- The LNHS Academic Scholarship Application and Donors' Scholarship Applications are available for all senior LNHS students.
- Any physical, paper, scholarship applications should be turned into the LNHS Career Center by the due date
- ONLY the RECIPIENTS will be notified of their award through their school Gmail account. Notifications will be sent during approximately the first week of May when recipients are invited to the LNHS Academic Senior Awards Program
- All ONLINE Applications and Forms will be available after students log in to their LNHS school Gmail accounts

- Cherry View Elementary PTO Scholarship
Cherry View Elementary is awarding a 2/$1000 scholarship to a past CVE student. Recipients must have attended CVE the majority of their elementary years, and may be attending a 2/tech or a 4-year college. Essay is described on the paper application.

- Jake Flynn Memorial Scholarship
The Jake Flynn Memorial is awarding 1/$2000 scholarship. This memorial scholarship is being awarded in memory of Jake Flynn to an outstanding student with a good character, an athlete, involved in extra-curricular work and who can demonstrate financial need. All applicants will be having a VIRTUAL interview in March after school.
Applicants will be contacted by the Donor to set up an exact time for their VIRTUAL INTERVIEW.

- Matt Heisler Scholarship
The Matt Heisler Scholarship is awarding 1/$1002 scholarships to students who demonstrate unselfishness, are a true friend, put others first, is caring, an athlete, hard working, high-spirited, an organ donor, and has a passion for the outdoors. This award has been established as a memorial to Matt Heisler, a 2011 graduate and four-year Lakeville North football player. In his tragic death, Matt donated his organs, which impacted over 60 people’s lives.

- Minnesota Health Fairview Ridges Hospital High School Scholarship
The Minnesota Health Fairview Ridges Hospital is pleased to award 1/$1500 scholarship to a deserving, academically outstanding senior student. The applicant must be a high academic achiever, an outstanding school/community citizen, and planning to attend college in the fall with any field of college study.

- Nate Rasmussen Memorial Scholarship
The Nate Rasmussen Memorial Scholarship is awarding 1/$2000 scholarship. This memorial scholarship is given in memory to Nate Rasmussen by his family and friends to a recipient who is involved in community/work, sports, 3.0 GPA or higher, and activities.

- Penntek Industrial Coatings Scholarship
Since 2010, Penntek Industrial Coatings has manufactured industry-leading, award-winning products in the realm of concrete floor coating solutions. The Penntek Industrial Coatings Scholarship exists to support the dreams and aspirations of senior students. This 1/$1000 scholarship is eligible for students who are planning to enroll in an accredited Minnesota TECHNICAL College and continue their education at a technical school for the trades industry.

- Rotary Club Service Above Self Scholarship
The Lakeville Rotary Service Above Self scholarship will be awarded to a student who best represents the spirit and ideals of Rotary International. More specifically, why is service important to you and your community as this is the heart and soul of Rotary International. In addition to service-oriented applications, the Lakeville Rotary Club will look for qualities such as a history of leadership, overcoming obstacles, entrepreneurship, attitude, and having specific plans for the future. The Lakeville Rotary Club is awarding 2/$2000 scholarships to students with unique leadership skills and achievements in the community, volunteerism (helping others), entrepreneurial spirit and attitude for future career plans, has overcome obstacles, and can demonstrate a financial need.
