The Lakeville South High School Clay Target team took home 2nd at the 2026 MSHSL Clay Target State Tournament on June 26, with 97 percent shooting accuracy, breaking 486 out of 500 targets. (2 minute read)

Lakeville Area Schools Superintendent Michael Baumann announced the hiring of Bret Domstrand as Executive Director of Student Services, pending formal school board approval on August 25.

At the July 28 school board meeting, several topics were discussed and approved including: the acknowledgement of resignation of Kim Baker from the school board; election of Paul Carbone to the position of School Board Clerk; approved the Lakeville Association of School Administrators (LASA) contract.
